The ABC Family Support Fund was created to honor Alyssa Beth Cabes, beloved daughter and sister. We provide monetary support and resources for families of children with disabilities or critical health issues to help with costs not covered by Medicaid or private insurance.

Our Mission

For families of children with disabilities or critical health problems, money is often an issue. Medicaid or even private insurance rarely covers all medical costs, placing additional burdens and stressors on these families. At the ABC Family Support Fund, our mission is to close this gap by providing monetary assistance and resources in a multitude of ways.

Through the support of donors, we strive to help these families by covering unmet medical expenses in and out of the hospital. â€‹

What We Do

We offer financial assistance to families of children with disabilities to cover expenses not covered by private insurance or Medicaid, including, but not limited to:

  • Equipment

  • Medical therapies

  • Assistive devices

  • Home/car modifications

Additionally, we hope to provide gift cards for these families at least 2 times a year, specifically near Christmas and Alyssa’s birthday on May 8th.
